Ayesha Omar discusses harassment incident happened to her

She surfaced that she was subjected to "sexual harassment" not only as a child but for a long time after entering the showbiz industry

Actress Ayesha Omar, who spoke openly on women's rights and social issues, once again discussed the inappropriate incidents that happened to her.

It is highlighted that Ayesha Omar has also talked about such incidents in the years 2020 and 2021 through various interviews and social media posts.

The actress had said in the past that she had faced 'sexual harassment' at the beginning of her showbiz career. She had been harassed by a man twice older from her age for a long time.

Ayesha Omar had also said that she did not talk to anyone about the incidents of 'sexual harassment' for 15 years, but now she has started discussing these incidents.

Ayesha Omar now has again spoken openly about sexual harassment incident happened to her. She says that she was "sexually harassed" not only in childhood but also at the beginning of her showbiz career.

The actress said that she could not understand during beginning what was happening with her.

Actress Ayesha Omar has recently told through an interview to Fuchsia Magazine that her father had died when she was only 2 years old and her mother has grown up her.

She said that her financial problems had worsened after death of her father and her mother could not afford expenses to continue her education, but thankfully she got a scholarship at Lahore Grammar School.

Ayesha Omar said that she had received not only school but also college education on scholarship moreover National College of Arts Performing (NCA) Lahore also gave her scholarship.

The actress said that she started acting since childhood during her school days for earning of money and started supporting her mother since childhood.

Ayesha Omar said that she still runs the whole family and in a way she runs three houses.

As per to the actress, her mother lives in Lahore and she pays all the expenses whereas she lives in a rented flat at Karachi moreover, her younger brother studies in Denmark and she afford his expenses also.

Ayesha Omar said that she pay all the expenses of her brother's study abroad since she have have enough money to buy house in Karachi. So she lives in a rented flat.

The actress said she has also lived with actress Maria Wasti and another friend in a rented flat for 13 years.

Ayesha Omar clarified that she has a 'very loving temperament' but she empathizes with people by linking the events that happen to them with her own events.

Ayesha Omar surfaced that she has faced frustrations in childhood and she endured many things.

Ayesha Omar shared her childhood incident in which her neighbor's employee harassed her in childhood.

Ayesha Omar further said that not only during childhood she became victim of 'sexual harassment' after entering in showbiz industry. She said that an older and powerful harassed for a long time.

Ayesha Omar named anyone persons however, she claimed that a persons has harassed her for a long time

Ayesha Omar narrated another incident that recently a famous and senior actor, producer and director said some unsuitable against her in front of many people. After the incident, when she called the man and said that he had said something inappropriate about her, the man hung up the phone without at the moment.

Ayesha Omar said during the interview that most of the children are victims of sexual harassment and sexual harassment of children is not linked to rich or poor.

She said that children of many rich families are sexually harassed not only at homes but also in educational institutions.

It is pertinent to mention that Ayesha Omar and Yasir Hussain has recently announced release of their film "Javed Iqbal: Untold Story of a Serial Killer" but Punjab government has stopped its screening on Cinemas due to story issue and complaint on the film. The film will be released after analysis by the special board.
