Parveen Rind Harassment Case, Director Ghulam Mustafa escaped from court

Accused of the court alleged to be involved in Parven Rind managed to escape from the court

Ghulam Mustafa, Director Nursing of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, escaped from the court premises after his bail application was rejected in the case of alleged sexual harassment.

Police say the director of nursing will be arrested soon and produced in court.

In Nawabshah, House Officer Nursing Parveen Rind in the alleged sexual harassment case, the Third Additional Sessions Judge granted bail to Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Farida Wagan, Hostel Warden Dr Fareeha and Dr Atiqa.

It is pertinent to mention that Nursing Student Parveen Rind studying in PUMHSW Nawabshah had given statement before the media regarding harassment by University Staff during the month of Feb 2022.

 After press conference, civil society and other pro national parties of Sindh had organized protested in interior Sindh against the alleged harassment activity by the university Staff.

House Nursing Officer Parveen Rind had registered a case against Director Nursing Ghulam Mustafa for sexual harassment while Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Farida, Warden Dr Fareeha and Dr Atiqa had been charged with assault.

Later, Chief Justice High Court had taken suo moto on the case and instructed university staff including police staff, and administration of District Nawabshah to appear before the court.

 On 15 Feb 2022, Parveen Rind appeared in Sindh High Court in with bare foot and appealed for decision to her.
