Meera is wife of Ateeq Ur Rehman, Court Rules Out

 

A local court in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, has rejected actress Meera's plea for denial of marriage, stating that the actress is wife of Ateeq-ur-Rehman.

Prior to the Lahore Sessions Court, the Family Court had also declared actress Meera as wife of Ateeq-ur-Rehman during 2018, against which the actress had filed an appeal.

On the application of Meera, Sessions Judge Mazhar Hussain heard the case on 31 January 2022, during which the lawyers of both the parties completed their arguments.

The hearing of the case was going on for a long time and after completion of all the arguments, the Sessions Court rejected the application of actress Meera and ruled in favor of Atiq-ur-Rehman.

The Sessions Court in its summary judgment rejected Meera's plea stating that the actress is the wife of Ateeq-ur-Rehman.

A man named Atiq-ur-Rehman first claimed that Meera had married him before 2009  but despite being his wife, he remarried Captain Naveed.

Meera had filed a petition for denial of marriage in July 2009 after a man named Ateeq-ur-Rehman claimed marriage over marriage.

Dozens of hearings were held in the case, and the court even issued an arrest warrant for Meera for non-appearance.

Almost a decade later, the Lahore Family Court ruled in June 2018 that the actress is wife of Ateeq-ur-Rehman.

Meera later filed petition in the Sessions Court against the decision of the Family Court and hearings were held for almost three years. Now the court ruled on 31 January 202 that Meera is wife of Ateeq-ur-Rehman.

Meera had been claiming that she did not marry Ateeq-ur-Rehman and the pictures taken with him are actually part of a drama shoot.

However, as per Ateeq-ur-Rehman, the pictures were taken actually during their wedding.

It is pertinent to mention that Actress Meera has always said contradictory statement about her marriage with Captain Naveed including Atiq-ur-Rehman and she has been taking U-Turn on her statements.

Meera is also known as scandal queen of Pakistan, while many people have been seen raising questions over her mental health.

Moreover, actress Meera is famous for her erroneous English speaking since she has remained ever headlines of the electronic and paper news.

It is highlighted Actress Meera is one of the most popular Pakistani actresses of 1990s. She has also acted in at least three Indian films. Several controversial videos of her have also been leaked in the past.
