PISA Awards are announced for TikTokers, YouTubers, Instagramers

 

Nominations for 2^nd Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA) have been announced

With the view to bring talent of Pakistani artists at global level, Pakistan International Screen awards (PISA) are being awarded to the best screen artists every year. 1^st PISA awards ceremony was held on 7 Feb 2020 at Coca Cola Arena. Different categories including life time achievement, films, television, fashion, social media etc were included in the award nominees. During 1^st PISA Award Ceremony, film “Paray Hat Love” remained at first position after winning 5 awards, whereas, Drama Serial “Meray Paas Tum Ho” swept all dramas by winning seven awards during the ceremony.

First PISA award ceremony also faced many controversies and was criticized by many showbiz personalities including Nabeel Zafar of Bulbulay”. No jury was set during the first award ceremony. The stars marked the ceremony as the worst Pakistani Awards Ceremony”

However, 2^nd PISA award ceremony has been announced to be held on 5 November 2021 at Dubai. Nominations of the awards have been announced for 24 categories of screen stars. YouTubers, Instagrammers, TikTokers, Vloggers and Content Creators on social media platforms have been also included in the nominee list of PISA 2021 for the first time. It is highlighted that  no nominations have been announced for the film category for PISA 2021 due to closure of the cinemas owing to COVID19 pandemic.
