Famous Character Uncle Sargam (Original Name Farooq Qaiser) expired due to cardiac attack

Well known comedian and creator of thin comedy character like Uncle Sargam Farooq Qaiser has passed away due to cardiac attack. Farooq Qasier has left behind a son and two daughters.

President of Pakistan and Prime Minister have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Farooq Qaisar.

Farooq Qaiser's grandson Hasnain Qaiser confirmed his death saying that that Farooq Qasiar had been suffering from heart disease for a long time. While today on 14 May 2021 his health deteriorated, an ambulance was called but he died before its arrival. .

His famous shows were Kalian, Uncle Sargam and Dak Time. However, he achieved fame from PTV's popular program 'Kalian'. Farooq Qaiser had performed role in this program as Uncle Sargam.

Farooq Qaiser was also a writer, columnist, cartoonist and TV producer. He was awarded Pride of Performance during 1993.

Farooq Qaiser was born on 31 October 1945 at Lahore. He studied at the National College of Arts, Lahore.

Farooq Qaiser also remained teacher at NCA and Fatima Jinnah Women's University.

Farooq Qaiser entered in PTV through Salima Hashmi introduced him during 1970 through 'Akkar Bakkar'.

Grievances Expressions by President and Prime Minister 

President Arif Alvi expressed regret over the demise of Farooq Qaiser, saying that he has been deeply saddened by the demise of renowned writer, actor and artist Farooq Qaiser. The President said that late Farooq Qaiser had rendered invaluable services in the field of art of Pakistan.

The President said that Farooq Qaiser highlighted important social issues with his beloved character "Uncle Sargam". He said that, an important chapter of the art sector in Pakistan has been closed after Death of Farooq Qaiser. He Prayed that Allah elevate the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to the family.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Farooq Qaiser. He said in a statement that Farooq Qaiser was not only an actor; he developed awareness about social injustices and issues. Prime Minister of Pakistan also expressed condolences to the family of Farooq Qaiser.

Moreover, many important personalities including showbiz celebrities have shown their grievances over the death of Farooq Qaiser @ Uncle Sargam.
