"There are so many people in the
industry who are dying in secret."
"After every controversy, I often
get calls from actors that you are right, but that's not what they do on social
media. Because they are afraid they will be abused, I am not afraid. '
Whether it's proposing marriage to his
wife in a packed house, criticizing Turkey's most popular drama, Ertugrul, or
taunting fellow actors on social media, actor Yasir Hussain is not afraid of at
least all of these things.
However, most people find their words
offensive, which makes them feel like they are in conflict all the time.
However, according to Yasir Hussain, he
does not care about all these things, but he says, "People should stop
talking about me." Don't know what I'm doing. I'm not going to your house
and telling you to follow me. '
Yasir Hussain, who has been associated
with the showbiz industry for almost 12 years, has made similar remarks in an
exclusive interview to the BBC.
Yasir Hussain says, "Why can't I
express my opinion, just because I am an actor?" I just have to live in a
fake shell. Everyone should think that actors are the same as they are on TV'.
"Now the era of Rajesh Khanna and Muhammad
Ali is gone where Amitabh Bachchan is still wearing the same hairstyle wig
because maybe they think that if the hairstyle is changed then I will not look
like Amitabh Bachchan."
"I don't think it should be like
that, people's hair falls out, playing cricket in the sun changes color in two
days. In the same way, your views and opinions change."
However, Yasir Hussain considers the
views of the people as a difficult aspect of the sector.
"It's all so easy that you do a
project and become a superstar," he says. But difficult because people
like me have an opinion that you have to tolerate.
However, this does not stop them from
expressing their views. "We are human, we are alive, we will talk, we will
talk," he says.
"What I'm talking about is happening
in society. I'm telling the truth, I'm not lying."
On 6 September 2020, Yasir Hussain's name
suddenly started trending on social media. This was due to his reaction to a
picture posted on social media under the name 'Pakistani Ertugrul' in reference
to the Turkish drama series Ertugrul, in which he wrote, 'No one will ask him
because of the house. Chicken lentils are equal and garbage outside is also
equal.
In fact, since the drama series was aired
in Pakistan, Yasir Hussain has often made statements in which he has been
talking about dramas and films co-produced by Pakistan and other countries
through which Pakistani actors have also been introduced۔
Speaking to the BBC, Yasir said:
"Take the example of Ertugrul. I said we should do joint productions that
would benefit us. Our actors will be known internationally. There was nothing
wrong with that. "
Today Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui
are doing such productions. You have to work together, not run their business
cheaply here, that's not a good thing. "
He also talks about the 'hypocrisy' of
the industry in this regard and says that 'not only our industry but every
institution is like this, where is the truth told?'
Most people know Yasir Hussain because of his courageous deed when he offered marriage to actress Iqra Aziz in front of everyone in an award show.
Yasir and Iqra Aziz met during an awards show
in Toronto, but the video of their wedding proposal later became very popular
on social media.
Yasir Hussain says of such comments,
"I did nothing to reassure anyone."
"I did one thing, Iqra liked it very
much," he says. How many people offer marriage in front of everyone and
the one that the whole world is watching.

According to Yasir, Iqra Aziz did not really
know about it and Yasir's friend had advised him to tell it first so that Iqra
would not accept the ring under pressure.
This was definitely a risky thing for
Yasir. But he says: "If Iqra had known in advance, I would not have
enjoyed it. I thought if he didn't take the ring under so much pressure, he
wouldn't take it. '
"Why should we hide from
anyone?" He asked, sharing photos of himself and Iqra on Instagram and
making his private life public.
He says everyone should respect and love
their wives, both front and back.
"What we have seen in our society is
that the husband is moving forward and the wife is coming back with the
children, now that he is changing. As a case of Lahore University came to
light, ie those who are cheating on marriage are still in the university, those
who expressed their intention to get married were expelled from the university.
Yasir Hussain says he doesn't pay much
attention to the squabbles with fellow actors and "the situation doesn't
always remain the same." We have opinions and they change.
"I may feel very bad about what you
said today and tomorrow I will realize that it was not so bad. It was a joke to
which I should have reacted better. The same is true of the Haniya controversy.
It may be recalled that Yasir Hussain,
while sharing a make-up photo of actress Haniya Aamir, told his fans that
"her beauty is not complete and she is also facing problems like acne
(nail acne on the face)."
Similarly, Ahsan Khan, the villain actor
of the drama 'Adari' on the subject of child sexual abuse, had said on the
occasion of an award show in May 2019, 'Such a beautiful child molester? I wish
I had a child too. ”After which Yasir Hussain had to face severe criticism.
However, Yasir Hussain says that why only
controversies are highlighted about me, why no good thing is ever shared?
"Who is not working on conflicts?" He cites. I posted a video quoting
Master Ashiq Hussain who made 'Ho Lal Meri Pat'. Those who died after living in
poverty and the singers who sang their songs were asked to pay their royalties
to their heirs.
He says that when he talked to Farhan
Saeed about it, he agreed to go with me to one of his sons and paid him some
money which was actually his debt but the video was watched by a few thousand

nonsense videos. They have not been shared by any other forum, so when every
channel is alive on controversy, what a bad thing if I did something like that.

Yasir Hussain has so far worked in only
three major drama projects. According to him, the level of drama production in
Pakistan is not increasing.
"It simply came to our notice then.
The actors go crazy with sweat. There is a lot of factory environment where the
product is being made.
He says that when I find a character who
is different, I have to act like I have a role in captivity.
"Even actors who do plays don't
enjoy it, they just have a habit of doing plays. And maybe they don't know that
they can make money through any other talent.
The other thing that bothers Yasir
Hussain is that there is no role for men in dramas. "Either he's good or
bad, Gray has no margin. There is no servant who was once bad and then became
good. '
Yasir Hussain is very excited about his
upcoming films 'Pichhe To Dekho', 'Chaudhry' and the telefilm 'Guru Cheela' as
his roles are different in all these films.
