Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, PPP Talented and Active Member

 

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah s/o Ghulam Shabbir Shah was born on 10 November 1964 at Rohri, District Sukkur. He passed MA (Political Science) from Shah Latif University, Khairpur.

Since stepping to politics he has remained linked with Pakistan Peoples Party. He is an active member of PPP ever enjoyed its support. He started his political career after becoming as mayor of Sukkur from 2001 to 2005. Later he became mayor of Sukkur again from 2005 to 2008.

During general elections 2008, he contested as candidate of PPP provincial seat from Sukkur. He won these elections and became member of provincial assembly.

Nasir Hussain Shah also contested as candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party on Provincial Assembly seat at PS 2 (Sukkur II). During which remained member of Sindh Assembly after getting 34664 votes.

During May 2018, Mir Panal Talpur submitted petition against Nasir Hussain Shah for holding Aqama of UAE. The petitioner appealed in his petition against Nasir Hussain Shah that he has aqama from UAE from the year 2009. But he had not mentioned in nomination papers submitted for contesting in general elections 2018. The petitioner added that being employee of a foreign company and full time salaried person, nobody can hold the seat of minister or office of high appointment. This act is violation of Article 62 and 63 of Constitution of Pakistan. But, Nasir Hussain Shah had shown in his nomination papers as agriculturist from general elections 2013. 

He was reelected as member of Provincial Assembly from PS 25 (Sukkur IV) during general elections 2018 and won the seat after getting 42490 votes.

He was inducted into Sindh assembly cabinet of CM Syed Murad Ali Shah and appointed as Minister of Sindh for works and services.

Nasir Hussain Shah was previously enjoying the ministry of Provincial Minister for Works and Services from 5 Sep 2018 to Aug 2019.

On 5 August 2019, he was appointed Provincial Minister of Sindh for Local Government, Forests and Religious Affairs and still holds these appointments.

As per statements of assets submitted by himself, he has livestock worth Rupees 5.8 Mn, Furniture worth Rupees 1.2 Million. He has Corolla Car 2010 Model ATE-224 for rupees 1.295 Mn, and tractor trollies amounting to rupees 3.75 Million. He has also 70 tola gold worth Rupees 0.46 Million. He has Agricultural lands worth 0.396 Million. He has also cash in hand amounting to Rupees 6.9 Million. One Bugalow at Rohri worth Rs 5.00 Million. He has also shown in assets as 50% ownership a plot. He has also 104 acres agricultural lands and one bungalow at Clifton, Karachi. Moreover, sources have discovered that he has 40 acres agricultural lands on the name of his spouse and 22 acres agricultural lands on the name of his son Kumail Shah. Reportedly, he has three bank accounts having balance worth Rs 1.1 Million.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah enjoys happy family life and has proud to be father of well raised children. He is satisfied and happy very much from his loving family. He praises that behind all his success is due to his family support and prayers. He has one wife and two sons Syed Kumel Shah and Syed Akbar Nasir Shah.
