CORONA VIRUS RELIEF ORDINANCE

The corona relief ordinance sent to the governor is duly signed by Murtaza Wahab. The ordinance will be enforced in the province after the governor’s signature.  Sindh Cabinet had approved Corona virus Emergency Relief Ordinance on 27 Apr 2020 aimed at providing relief to the people amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a new ordinance, it would be mandatory for school owners for reducing fees by 20%. Besides, the rent of the houses will also be decreased. It has been mandatory under the ordinance that the private sector will not be able to terminate their employees. In addition, private companies will also be liable to pay salaries to their employees on time.
