Famous American singer Robert Sylvester Kelly (R. Kelly) was convicted of child pornography and sexual solicitation of minor girls
According to the foreign news agency,
during the most important trial in Chicago, the American singer was found
guilty of 6 out of 13 charges, while 7 cases filed against him were dismissed.
The singer was convicted of child sexual
exploitation, making and distributing pornographic videos and inciting sexual
consent of underage girls.
At least four of the singer's female
victims, who are now vulnerable, have submitted affidavits alleging that he
sexually assaulted them before the age of 18.
He will be sentenced in the coming weeks
and could face 20 to 30 years in prison and fines, according to media reports.
It should be noted that R. Kelly is
already serving a 30-year prison sentence in New York for 9 counts of sex
crimes and sexual assaults on minor girls. He was arrested during 2018 for multiple
sexual abuses and sex trafficking and he found guilty for some the charges
during last year subsequently he was sentenced for thirty years.
