Noor Jahan's daughters annoyed over Ali Azmat's Statement

After inappropriate statement by Ali Azmat he faces criticism from people, now daughters of Madam Noor Jahan also annoyed over him

Hina Durrani, daughter of the most popular singer past, Madam Noorjahan, recently expressed anger over the singer's behavior and said that the words spoken by singer Ali Azmat to her mother are inappropriate.

It is highlighted that Ali Azmat had said in an interview a few days ago that in the past, when he was young, he used to get angry when he saw Madam Noor Jahan singing on TV with saree in excessive make-up.

Ali Azmat had said that culture of western music was promoted in Pakistan because of the style of Malika Taranum Noorjahan.

Several showbiz personalities and the general public criticized Ali Azmat's statement and showed anger on his statement however, now Hina Durrani and Manal Hassan daughters of Madam Noor Jahan have also expressed annoyance over his words.

Hina Durrani shared commendation videos of late Indian actor Dilip Kumar and singer Lata Mangeshkar on Instagram account with reference to her mother Malika Taranum, while also releasing a statement on Ali Azmat's statement. Hina Durrani termed Ali Azmat as an almost extinct star of the Pakistani music industry and expressed her indignation over his words through her lengthy post on Instagram. She wrote in the post that personality of any human being is judged by his respect for others and the words spoken by a person a few days ago for the country's famous singer personality has been revealed.

Malika Taranum’s second daughter Manal Hassan also shared the same post and wrote that everyone should have freedom of expression but this does not mean that this freedom should be used to tarnish another's personality. Manal Hassan wrote that freedom of expression is commonly abused in Pakistan and is used to humiliate others. She further wrote that in an interview a few days ago, the representative who came to the end of Pakistani music made inappropriate remarks not only about the best singer of the country but also about a woman and a mother.

According to Manal Hassan and Hina Durrani, Ali Azmat attacked a mother and showed his low self-esteem, justifying the promotion of Western-style music in the country. Both sisters did not mention Ali Azmat's name in their post but they were referring to him. Manal Hassan and Hina Durrani wrote that their mother worked for the country beyond her dreams and desires and sacrificed her life for the homeland.
