Veterian Actress Zeba Begum Shifted to Islamabad due to Ill Health

 

Former famous actress Zeba Begum was shifted to hospital due to ill health.

Zeba Begum's son-in-law appealed for prayers for actress Zeba Begum and said that she has been shifted from Lahore to Islamabad for treatment.

According to family sources, Zeba Begum was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital of Lahore city. Zeba Begum wife of Actor Muhammad Ali is suffering from heart disease.

Zeba has been awarded 4 Nigar Award and Ilyas Rasheedi Gold Medal besides other awards.

76 years old was first married to actor Sudhir in 1964, which ended soon after for unknown reasons. She got married for the second time to famous actor Muhammad Ali. She had acted in more than 50 films with actor Muhammad Ali and set a unique record.

Muhammad Ali and Zeba met first time during 1962 while filming movie Chirag Jalta Raha. They got married on 29 Sep 1966 while filming “Tum mile pyar mila” The couple had did no children together. However, Samina was Zeba's daughter from her first marriage and Muhammad Ali adopted her giving the name Samina Ali.

Muhammad Ali was also a great Pakistani actor who was called as Shahenshah-e-Jazbaat. He was highly had performed in biographical, historical and patriotic roles. Muhammad Ali had starred in over 250 films with roles of heroes as well as villains. As per survey by CNN of 2010, Muhammad Ali is counted amongst 25 greatest actors in Asia (all time). Muhammad had received 10 Nigar Awards from 1964 to 1984, which made him the only Pakistani actor receiving most awards during 1960s and 1970s. Moreover, he was awarded President’s Pride of Performance during 1984. Besides, he had received many special awards including 1^st foreign award Al Nasar Award in Dubai during 1984, Pakistan Best Personality Award during 2007 and Naushad Award of India.  He expired on 19 Mar 2006 due to heart attack.
