Pakistan's greatest game, the Pakistan
Super League (PSL), is back and like each year, the primary buzz is around its
anthem.
The PSL 6 anthem highlights Naseebo Lal,
Young Stunners and Aima Baig and it's called 'Notch Mera'.
It's a blend of the customary vocals of
Naseebo Lal, rap by the Young Stunners, Aima Baig's force vocals and a contagious
beat. The music video debuted on 6 February 2021 and as of now has 2.5 million
perspectives on YouTube.
Sure some of it doesn't bode well like
however it vigorously underlines how the current year's PSL will be watched on
TV screens rather than in arenas. Truth be told, it's in the verses: "Aaj
dekhe ga swarm mera groove TV pe" which means the crowd will see my score
on TV today.
The music video likewise highlighted
people watching matches on TVs, cell phones and PCs and Wahab Riaz tapping a TV
in an arena, stressing how the current year's PSL will be diverse due to the
pandemic.
While the tournaments start on February
20 at Karachi's National Stadium; with the main T20 being played between the
Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, the gab right presently is about the
melody (we haven't failed to remember a year ago's dramatization).
Twitter was isolated over the melody; for
certain individuals thinking back about Ali Zafar's anthem once more and others
getting a charge out of how infectious the PSL 2021 form is. Others didn't have
the foggiest idea what notch implied.
